R15 V2 Mud guard Tyre Hugger for old R15
Wel, this modd is just for my bike as i wouldn't suggest any of u to go for FZ bike swing arms and wheels anymore as the new r15 v2 entire rear is a direct fit for our old r15. YAYY :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, I cant go for that as I have blown up a lot for this mod, hence thought I would mate a FZ tyre hugger with a R15 tyre hugger and volla.. the result above :P The new hugger is just clamped on to the old one (of course tightly) and the whole assembly on to the swinger arm.
R15 front fender mod SZ-X
If you guys have noticed super bikes, you would have seen the front fender has two allen key bolts holding the fender, so waned to do something like that to R15, hence started looking at all the bikes on the road for a month while I was on my way to office, It was then I saw Yamaha SZ-X. Its front fender was long enough for me to make another hole above the original existing one. Hence went to yamaha service station and bought the front fender of sz-x. make a few modification to the fender to fit on the r15, and made new two holes and fixed the grip and then on to the shocks.
Here are the photos below, you can notice the old one has just one screw and is shorter in length as compared to the new modd.

So, dont do it yourself if u arent sure.. buy them..its about 4 to 6k...
dude....about the front fender, try cutting some part of it's front end, so it doesn't stick out so much....

If you are talking abt the rear tyre Yes it will fit easily. Tyre width till 160 will fit for the v2's aluminium swing arm.
140/70 will fit as well as 160/60.
160/70 or 160/80 will touch the swing arm. So be careful while u buy the tyre.

yes dude aluminium swing arm is the same.. but u shud weld ur tail frame cos the swing arm will hit the frame of the tail. so the only welding is.. geting the frame of the tail higher up.

Spent an hour reading ur awesome mods there,Bevin.I am from Kolkata and I have a super cool looking White Fazer,bought it mainly coz I fell in love with the colour. Is it possible to change my speedo and tacho decal to something like urs? Also I would like to install the R15v2's rear disc brake as well as the tyre hugger on my ride.Hey,aren't u planning to change the rear brake light to LED? DeleteI lll tell u wat to do though :P
Open the odometer casing.
remove the black dial gently from the LCD display
Go to a scanner
take a scan of the Dial (make sure u dont change the measurements of the original image)
Use photoshop to invert the colour (black becomes white)
and add any coloured additional icons to it.
Get it printed or cut on a vinyl or a HP Photopaper
and stick it on top of the original dial and
re assemble the whole odometer
WOLAAAA

Deletethe old calliper wont fit on the alluminium swing arm. you will have to buy the new one + new disc.

I suggest you go to JC road, you will find one according to your need.
It ranges from 900 to around 8k..
If you buy a free flow ( your speed will get hampered )
Buy an exhaust that has atleast min 1 split pipe inside the baffle..

DeleteMine was fixed on a FZ swing arm (not R15 swing arm)
FZ16 swing arm is broader, hence it fixed with ease.
U try pulsar's mud guard for r15, the back one i mean.

DeleteIt will fit, but u have to chop many parts of it..
If u want the superbike front look.. go for the new pulsar's NS front fender mud guard,
It loooks way beter.. n less to chop from it.
